Dear Jaden Smith,
I am all for freedom of expression, and maybe you are right, society places tons of value on gender assignment roles, but lets not go and make men wearing dresses some kind of new fashion trend.
Why am I so against this you say?
First off 46forum is not down with homophobia! We get high with people from all walks of life, so that is not the problem. The issue is… You know what let me just make a list.
1) Most guys simply do not have the legs to wear dresses. I know some ladies don’t either, but women are way better at not having massive amounts of body hair. Do you really want to see this guy in a dress?
2)I have a bad feeling a lot of dudes won’t be sitting right in public. When you sit down in a dress, isn’t like common courtesy to cross your legs? Most guys can’t even put the toilet seat down, and you expect men in dresses to keep their legs crossed at all times? Have you ever seen that movie Basic Instinct starring Sharon Stone? If you have, picture these guys doing that famous scene and you will soon join my cause.
I guess it’s really not that long of a list, just those two things I guess. Maybe that’s the problem with being from the old school, I just don’t understand this new generation. I mean Bugs Bunny wore a dress every now and then, but that was different. There was also that one show in the 1980’s starring Tom Hanks Bosom Buddies, and that was also different.
It just was.
Plus that was a good ass show.
You get a pass this time Mr. Smith because your dad is The Fresh Prince, but don’t go making this a habit.
Good day to you sir.
Old Skool Joe
